102311 - Part 2

If you have a minute, click here. Listen.
If you have a few minutes, click here. Close your eyes. Listen. Enjoy.

If you have at least 12 minutes, click here. Find a quiet place, alone, and close your eyes. Keep them closed, you don't have anywhere to go for the next twelve minutes, and if you do, don't listen to this song now. Listen to the music (preferably with your best headphones or speakers). Let the music take you away. Think of whatever you want to think. Your past. Your future. Where you are in life now. Your successes. Your failures. But most importantly what makes you happy. I truly appreciated this song the first time I flew home from Boston, after I visited Berklee for the very first time. It was nighttime, and the inside of the plane was quiet and dimly lit. Outside the window, I could see lights from a few planes and houses, and the clouds drifting peacefully outside. The plane seemed like it was moving slowly, but we were in no rush to get anywhere, and the entire album led me to think about my whole life and the choices I've made and how truly great God is in everything that he does. Honestly, when I listened to this album all the way through for the first time on that flight, it put me in a peaceful state of mind that literally made me think that if the plane went down at that moment, I wouldn't freak out because I knew that God was in control and would take care of me. This song is truly epic, but only if you let it be. This was the case for the whole album, but take it in regardless. This (classical music aside) is true music. Enjoy.
