Quick Post

I had an awesome jam session the other night! Me and a bunch of other guys jammed out to some blues for at least an hour. Well, it started out with Connor and Ariel playing their really annoying but really catchy song on the violin and recorder respectively, but soon we added piano, bass, snare drum, glass bottles, trumpet, clarinet, guitar, voice, and tuba. Yep. It is possible to jam out on the tuba, and I must say it was really fun, especially trying to play everything by ear in 7/8 time. But anyways, it was amazing and I had a whole ton of fun!

That whole experience though really makes me want to learn jazz tuba, so I can show people that playing tuba is not just about quarter notes and whole notes. We'll see, though, because my main focus has to be on the piano. Hopefully I can go busking with my tuba before it gets too cold out... (It's warm enough if it's not snowing.)
